Special Morning Assemblies- A platform for every student.:

The Morning Assembly is an essential part of our school schedule. It ensures a robust start to the day and helps to inculcate moral & ethical values in students. They also help children acquire self-confidence and self-esteem. We conduct theme-based assemblies to foster the spirit of group activity, leadership and value building as well as bonding between different cultures.

The first one of this kind was ‘Environment Week’ which comprised of class-wise Tree-plantation, ‘No Plastic Day’, ‘Green Day’ , a talk presented by Dr. Yadav followed by a movie on ‘Carbon footprint’. This week was followed by ‘Mother’s Week’ dedicated to mothers, Safety Week,Hindi Week’ , and ‘Food quality & safety week’ which was marked by   ‘we love sprouts day’ and  ‘healthy sandwich day’. Special Assemblies with speeches, skits, Live Demonstrations were held to observe the weeks.

In our efforts to develop language skills and enrich the word bank of the students, a word for the day along with its synonym and antonym is being provided everyday, in the assembly. Later the word along with its usage in a sentence and ‘Thought for the day’ is displayed on the notice board.

Our Assemblies give a glimpse of our multi cultural community and their varied culture. The celebrations of religious festivals like   ‘Ramnavmi’ ‘Mahavir Jayanti’, Hanuman Jayanti’, ‘Good Friday, ‘Janamashtmi’ ,'Makar Sakranti, 'Lohri' and 'Pongal'are witnessed by skits, dances, songs and informative talks by our guest visitors.

Working as a team, in the same direction enables greater accomplishments with lesser efforts. With this message launch of Maths, Sports, IT club, Photography club, Science club, Adventure club was done in the morning assembly.

To elevate the thinking, beliefs, knowledge of our students informative skits, speeches, songs, are presented to mark the importance of the days like ‘Earth day ‘World Environment Day’, ‘Mumbai Siege’, ‘Atomic blast held in Hiroshima and Nagsaki’

Our Tiny Tots are also given chance to participate in the assembly and show their talents. The Pre-Primary section celebrated ‘red day’ in the assembly. The students of UKG dramatized the story ‘ The Apple Tree’. The children of LKG recited the poem ‘My Red Balloon’. The students of Nursery carried red coloured objects made of thermocol like Tomato, apple, strawberries etc.

Christmas was also celebrated with great enthusiasm. The message of peace and love for fellow human beings was brought out. The students presented a small skit based on the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. The tiny tots lured the audience with their marvellous and lyrical rendering of the Christmas Carol. The students made the celebration lively with a fantastic and foot tapping dance “Joy to the world”.  The centre of attraction – Santa Claus was welcomed in the midst with much ardour and verve. He distributed chocolates to all students.
